The Need. . .

The Need. . .

In Genesis, Father God chose and commissioned Abram [later Abraham] to be the father of a great nation.  Today we know that nation as Israel.  God promised to mulitply and bless Israel.  Abram's commission was to be blessed and to be a blessing to the world.

Genesis 12:1  And Jehovah said to Abram, Go out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house into a land that I will show you.

Genesis 12:2  And I will make you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing.

Genesis 12:3  And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you.  And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Today, we are living in the last of the last days.  Within this generation, Israel was reconstituted.  Never before in recorded history has a nation come back together after being scattered to the four corners of the Earth.  However, Jesus predicted this.  And other prophets predicted this as well.  We live in a time where we are privileged to see the end times scriptures revealed before our very eyes.

2Timothy 3:1  Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand.

2Timothy 3:2  For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Timothy 3:3  without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good,

2Timothy 3:4  traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

2Timothy 3:5  having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these.

2Timothy 3:6  For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts,

2Timothy 3:7  ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

Matthew 24:1  And Jesus went out and departed from the temple. And His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.

Matthew 24:2  And Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone on another that shall not be thrown down.

Matthew 24:3  And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?

Matthew 24:4  And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Matthew 24:5  For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many.

Matthew 24:6  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet.

Matthew 24:7  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.

Matthew 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Matthew 24:9  Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name's sake.

Matthew 24:10  And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Matthew 24:11  And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.

Matthew 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.

Matthew 24:13  But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Matthew 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come.

Matthew 24:15  Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand).

Matthew 24:16  Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains.

Matthew 24:17  Let him on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house;

Matthew 24:18  nor let him in the field turn back to take his clothes.

Matthew 24:19  And woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!

Matthew 24:20  But pray that your flight is not in the winter, nor on the sabbath day;

Matthew 24:21  for then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be.

Matthew 24:22  And unless those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.

Matthew 24:23  Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ! Or, There! Do not believe it.

Matthew 24:24  For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect.

Matthew 24:25  Behold, I have told you beforehand.

Matthew 24:26  Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, He is in the desert! Do not go out. Behold, He is in the secret rooms! Do not believe it.

Matthew 24:27  For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:28  For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered.

Matthew 24:29  And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

Matthew 24:30  And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:31  And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Matthew 24:32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch is still tender and puts out leaves, you know that summer is near.

Matthew 24:33  So you, likewise, when you see all these things, shall know that it is near, at the doors.

Matthew 24:34  Truly I say to you, This Genesiseration shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.

Matthew 24:35  The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:36  But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels of Heaven, but only My Father.

Matthew 24:37  But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:38  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.

Matthew 24:39  And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:40  Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:41  Two shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:42  Therefore watch; for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.

Matthew 24:43  But know this, that if the steward of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be dug through.

Matthew 24:44  Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 24:45  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord has made ruler over His household, to give them food in due season?

Matthew 24:46  Blessed is that servant whom his Lord shall find him doing so when He comes.

Matthew 24:47  Truly I say to you that He shall make him ruler over all His goods.

Matthew 24:48  But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delays His coming,

Matthew 24:49  and shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken,

Matthew 24:50  the Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he does not look for Him, and in an hour which he does not know.

Matthew 24:51  And He shall cut him apart and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Daniel 12:1  And at that time Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation; until that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Daniel 12:2  And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Daniel 12:3  And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the sky; and those who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.

Daniel 12:4  But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel 12:5  Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood another two, the one on this side, and the one on that side of the bank of the river.

Daniel 12:6  And one said to the man clothed in linen on the waters of the river: Until when shall be the end of these wonders?

Daniel 12:7  And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was on the waters of the river, when he held up his right and his left hand to Heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half. And when they have made an end of scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Daniel 12:8  And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel 12:9  And He said, Go, Daniel! For the words are closed up and sealed until the end-time.

Daniel 12:10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried. But the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

Daniel 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the desolating abomination set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days shall occur.

Daniel 12:12  Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Daniel 12:13  But you go on to the end, for you shall rest and stand in your lot at the end of the days.

2Peter 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.
2Peter 3:11  Then, all these things being about to be dissolved, what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,
2Peter 3:12  looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?
2Peter 3:13  But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
2Peter 3:14  Therefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found by Him in peace.

So we are called, as a simple witness to this. . .

Matthew 10:32  Then everyone who shall confess Me before men, I will confess him before My Father who is in Heaven.

Matthew 10:33  But whoever shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in Heaven.

Revelation 3:5  The one who overcomes, this one will be clothed in white clothing. And I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
